Game text to speech
Text to speech for Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II
The classic Baldur's Gate games are mostly text: voice lines are short, and the dialogue, journal, spell and item descriptions are there to read. Corvo Reader reads any of it aloud in a natural voice, without mods.

Mostly text, few voice lines
In the first game, players on GOG's forums note that usually only a character's opening line is voiced. Baldur's Gate II has more voice work, but most of both games is still text: one player on the Steam forums put Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition at over 1.6 million words. The journal, spell and item descriptions and books add more.
The Enhanced Editions have a Font Size slider in Options, Graphics, added after players said the text was hard on the eyes. It helps, and a whole campaign is still a lot of reading.
Read the dialogue box with one key

Coming from BG3?
Baldur's Gate 3 voices its conversations and leaves tooltips, books and the journal as text. Corvo Reader works the same way in all of them, and there's a guide for Baldur's Gate 3 too.
Questions
Baldur's Gate EE and Corvo Reader.

Does it work with Siege of Dragonspear?
